Celebrating life in the kitchen

My name is Angie.

Welcome to my kitchen—where laughing, singing and dancing (and licking the spoon) are highly encouraged. For many years, I dreamt of a white kitchen where I could show off my obsession with anything in the shade of aqua, especially my KitchenAid mixer. I can’t pass up a whimsical tea towel and I believe one can never have too many dessert plates, wine glasses or cake stands. My favorite people are those who love food and those who love to talk about food.

“Kitchenistics” is a term coined by my daughter during her middle-school years to describe one’s skills in the kitchen.

For me, the term encompasses everything about celebrating life in the kitchen — the recipes we try, the food we share, the memories we make, and the fabulous people and items we invite into our kitchens.

I’m elated that I now have a dreamy blue and white kitchen at the beach in the beautiful hamlet of Manzanita, Oregon. I love waking up to my sunny kitchen, sipping on a cup of coffee and pondering what to bake and who to share my latest bake with.
